We have just been relaxing since our company left and getting back into a groove. It sure was nice to have help with cooking and cleaning! Work had been going good. I'm finally getting comfortable at what I am doing (kinda!). It's all such a learning experience. Juven traveled to Cincinatti last week and Chicago this week. He has gotten to be such an expert at traveling! I am off to Vegas next week for a couple of days on my first girls trip since becoming a mommy!! I am super excited and can't wait to relax.
Luke is getting so big! I shopped for the first time in the "little boys" section and not in the baby section for clothes. I know he is not a baby but his wardrobe has still been in the baby section until now!! He has been quite the helper lately. He loves to help to anything he can- cleaning, watering plants, mowing the grass & putting out the garbage can. He loves to sing songs especially Kenny Chesney (wonder where he got that?)

It is soooo nice to have my in-laws and sister-in-law here!!! They cook, clean and help take care of Luke!!! We had a wonderful Easter!. Great church service that talked about slowing down to live life and not rush through everything then we had Juven's family and friends over to cook out and have an Easter egg hunt for the kids. We all had sooo much fun!!

Juven is in Ohio for the night but will be back tomorrow and enjoy his parents being here. It is so great to hear Luke say, "Love you Grandma!"

Eater egg hunt. After- pictures load backwards!!

Last weekend. We were exploring Scottsdale.

This is Luke's Halloween costume from when we was 20 months old!! He finally wanted to wear it!

I always say I'm going to do better at posting and then I never do!! Our life has been crazy!! I am now the office manager at work and working full time and Juven has changed jobs as well!! Yes- no more chocolate!!! But that is okay as it is too tempting to have around. He was recruited by Perfetti -the holding company for Mentos and Airheads and has been with them for about three weeks now and loves it! He is a regional account executive and has a LARGE territory. He is from Arizona all the way north the the U.S. border. He will be traveling more but it is a great opportunity for him plus we were seeing another move coming from Hershey that would not have been to Texas and we are not ready for that again!

Luke love his school and today we had an Easter egg hunt for the kids. I stuffed about 900 eggs yesterday!! The Easter bunny has not even done her shopping yet and is way behind schedule! Juven's parents and sister are coming on Saturday for a week so we are looking forward to that and my mom will be here in May. (Juven turns 40 May 15!!!!) We are trying to plan a trip home to Texas in July so hopefully I can get that on the schedule!!

Juven is still chopping away at school and hopes to be done this fall. Not a moment too soon! Well better get going. Gotta get Luke in the bath!

A few weeks ago we went to the zoo with Heather, Evan and Dylan and had a nice relaxing afternoon. This is a little island in the zoo lake that the monkeys live on. It is so cool to not see them caged up. This is a great exhibit!

I thought the Fort Worth Zoo was good but it is nothing compared to the Phoenix Zoo. I have been many times and each time I go I see something new. It has several neat play areas for the kids, a couple of lakes, paddle boats, bike rentals, and a couple of water play area and a great big tree house with a river running through it.

Here are Dylan and Luke playing on the farm tractor. Notice they are both holding something. - Maps of the zoo. These were a big deal this trip for some reason. Neither boy would let go of them and when we got home Luke and I had to go over the route we took several times.
We are in the process of redoing Luke's bedroom in hopes he will eventually like sleeping in there. We broke down and got him bunk beds. He is super careful when on the top and very cautious so I am not too worried. I have emphasized safety and not going up without me or Juven in there. So far, so good. He had only slept in his new room once though since we got them!

Gotta really watch that ceiling fan now!

I posted earlier about the bunnies being turned around and finally got a picture of one of them. Silly boy!

We had a friend come in from Texas this week for spring training baseball. It is super big here in Arizona. There are MANY teams that come here. Saturday we all went to see the Brewers play the Dodgers. It was perfect weather. 75 degrees and sunny. We got lawn seats and just hung out on a blanket in the outfield.

Luke chugging away on some milk.

Luke soaking up some rays and taking it easy on Daddy's lap.

I found my camera. Now I just need to put new batteries in it! We survived another long week! I think I posted before that I got a promotion at work to office manager/assistant director. Well- I love my job but am having a hard time working full time!!! I have been working part time since November and have now worked my new hours for the past 3 weeks. I'm tired all the time and can't get caught up on house work and laundry!! : ( I have been at home with Luke since December 2006 and before that worked 4 days a week. I haven't worked Fridays EVER and now I work 10 to 6. Don't get me wrong- I'm not complaining. I was truely blessed with this opportunity. It is just an adjustment. Now when I get home especially on Friday I don't want to do anything except put on my pj's and sit on the couch!!

I did put up my Easte decorations last week and Luke was sooo excited! We have been telling him to be good because the Easter bunny won't fill his Easter basket with surprises if he is not good. I have a lot of little trinket Easter bunnies around the house for decoration and Juven told Luke that the little bunnies in the house were watching him and report back to the Easter bunny at the bunny patch. So-- Luke went around the house and turned all the bunnies around so that they couldn't see him. I told him they still could see him and knew if he was being good. He said no they can't! They can't see me when they are turned!! I even turned them all back the right way last night before bed and when he got home from school today he turned them around again!!
We are headed off to some spring training baseball games this weekend with a friend visiting from Texas. So hopefully we'll have some rest and relaxation!!

I have misplaced my camera! Since I have started back to work full time I am more scatter brained than before! I love my job though!! This weekend was busy! We went to some friends house Friday night and Saturday Juven finaly got his Arizona drivers liscence! We then went to some other friends for brunch and Mexican train dominoes. Sunday we played at the part and Luke rode his bike. The weather has been beautiful! We also have been on the hunt for bedroom furniture for Luke's room in hopes we will like sleeping in there. We got him a bunk bed set that will be delivered on Thursday and he is super excited about that! He wants his room done is trains but I'm not sure how to pull that off. I haven't seen any train decor anywhere?... So, not sure what we will do. At least now when Juven's parents and sister come to visit in April we will have a place for them all to sleep and his sister won't have to sleep on the couch. Our friend Tim is coming for a visit this week and we will be going to some spring training baseball games. Luke has not been to a baseball game yet but will be sooo excited. Hopefully I will have found my camera by then!!
